Editor Export

Overview

Editor Export turns your analysis into an editable checklist right on your timeline. From any completed analysis it builds a standard editor file (FCPXML) you import into DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere Pro, dropping a marker at every prioritized fix and every predicted drop-off so you jump straight to each spot and make the change. CapCut cannot read an editor timeline, so it gets the same fixes as a subtitle file (SRT) that lands them on your timeline as timed notes.

How it works

   Open the Action Plan tab

   On a completed analysis of your own video, open the Action Plan tab and find Export to your video editor.

   Pick your frame rate

   Match your project frame rate so the markers land on the exact frames.

   Download and import

   Download the file and import it into DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere Pro. The markers appear on the timeline; relink your source video to edit with them in place.

   Or send it to CapCut

   Choose Download for CapCut to get an SRT instead, then in CapCut on desktop or web open Text, choose Local captions, and import it. Your fixes arrive as one caption track, each note sitting on the moment it applies.

Important details

• Editor Export is on Pro and Team.
• CapCut cannot import an editor timeline, so it gets an SRT instead. Those notes arrive as captions, so delete the caption track before you export your video.
• The CapCut file needs CapCut on desktop or web. The mobile app cannot import subtitles.
• The markers come from the analysis you already ran, so an analysis with no timed edits has nothing to export.
