You upload a video file or paste a YouTube URL. Our AI agent watches every frame, every second, listens to every word, and analyzes your content against patterns from high-performing short-form videos. Within 90 seconds you get a full report: five category scores, an overall grade, a predicted retention curve with timestamps for every drop-off, and specific rewritten hooks and captions. On Basic and above you also get the full result: emotional pacing charts, audio-visual sync analysis, voice and delivery coaching, and the per-platform view.

Retensis supports TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. You can upload video files in MP4, MOV, or WebM format, or paste any public YouTube URL to analyze without uploading. Each analysis includes platform-specific compliance checks and optimization tips tailored to the platform you are creating for.

Yes. If you run several channels, connect them all and keep each one separate: every channel has its own video library and its own Creative DNA, so a cooking channel is never described using a gaming channel's numbers. You choose which channel you are working on from a switcher, and every tool, including the Agent, follows that choice until you change it. The limit is per platform, so a Free account can connect one YouTube channel and one TikTok channel at the same time. Free connects 1 channel per platform, Basic 2, Pro 5, and Team 10.

Longer videos may take slightly more time, but the process is fully automated with no manual steps required.

Yes. Paste any public YouTube URL - including Shorts, regular uploads, and Reels reposts - and Retensis analyzes it directly. No download or re-upload needed. This works for your own videos and for studying what is working for other creators. The analysis is identical to what you get when uploading a file.

Yes, on Pro and Team. The Agent is a coach you talk to, but you can also hand it a job and leave. When something you ask in chat turns out to be a job, the Agent says so and offers to run it as a task with your own words already filled in. Say whether it may spend any of your monthly analyses, then close the tab. It works out for itself how much digging the job needs, keeps going while you are away, and the written result is waiting when you come back, along with every step it took. It stops as soon as it has the answer rather than working to fill a budget. You can have 3 tasks running at once and stop any of them at any point. It never uses one of your monthly analyses unless you allowed that when you set the task up, and the default is none.

On a Team workspace, partly. The Agent can read the campaigns in your workspace and the reports on ads you have already reviewed in Ads Studio, so you can ask which of your ads held attention longest or how one read against the brief you wrote. It cannot review a new ad. To do that, open Ads Studio and run the review there, and the Agent can read the result afterwards. It also keeps ads and organic videos apart, because the two are judged on completely different things. Ads Studio is part of the Team plan.

Team includes everything in Pro and adds the Agency Workspace: a shared workspace where you and up to three teammates work from one analysis history, a Command Center for overseeing every creator or client at a glance, and Integrations that push alerts into Slack, Discord, or your own webhook. Team also unlocks a team reporting dashboard with CSV export, bulk video upload, full-fidelity export, and Ads Studio for reviewing video ad creative. The Agency Workspace and Ads Studio are on Team only.

Yes, and you do not need to be a developer. Retensis connects to Claude and ChatGPT through MCP, so you can use it right inside your chat. Connect your assistant in a few clicks, then ask in plain language, for example "find trending topics in my niche," "score this title," or "break down this competitor's video." Your assistant runs the matching Retensis tool and replies with the result in the conversation. The tools cover research, content creation, your own channel context, and video analysis, all with secure, scoped access you can revoke at any time. It is included with the Pro plan, and you can find step-by-step setup in the MCP documentation.

Yes. Your video is stored securely so you can review it alongside your analysis. It is never shared with third parties, used to train AI models, or made visible to other users. We do use anonymised, aggregated signals from analyses to make our predictions more accurate, and nothing derived that way is attributable to you or your business. You can ask us to exclude your account from even that. We keep your video until you delete it or close your account, and you can delete any video, or your entire account, at any time from your dashboard, which removes the file from our storage.
