1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Retensis ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Retensis is an AI-powered video analysis platform for content creators. The Service allows you to upload videos or provide YouTube URLs for AI analysis, which generates feedback on hook effectiveness, pacing, audio quality, visual engagement, and predicted audience retention.

3. YouTube API Services

Certain features of the Service use YouTube API Services. By using these features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You are responsible for your use of any YouTube data accessed through the Service. You may revoke the Service's access to your YouTube data at any time via Google's security settings. Our use of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to our Privacy Policy, which includes details on data collection, use, and storage specific to YouTube data. Google's Privacy Policy applies to data collected by Google: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

Certain features also allow you to connect a TikTok account or a Google Ads account. If you do, you authorize the Service to read data from that account as described in our Privacy Policy, you confirm you are entitled to grant that access, and you remain bound by the terms of the platform concerned. Our access to a Google Ads account is read-only: the Service never creates, changes, pauses, or removes campaigns, ads, budgets, or bids. You may disconnect any of these accounts at any time from your account settings, or revoke access directly with the platform.

4. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that you do not own or have the right to analyze
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service
• Upload content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others

6. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the videos you upload. By using the Service, you grant Retensis a limited license to store and process your video content for the purpose of providing your analysis and letting you review it. We do not use your videos to train AI models, and we do not claim ownership of your content or analysis results. You can delete your videos, or your entire account, at any time from your dashboard.

7. Subscriptions, Billing and Renewal

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are sold on either a monthly or an annual billing period. The period you choose is shown on the pricing page and again at checkout before you pay, and an annual plan is charged as a single payment covering twelve months. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in the currency we detect for your location, and any taxes that apply are shown at checkout before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then current for your plan, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for: you keep access to your paid features until that period ends, including the remainder of the year on an annual plan.

The allowance included with a paid plan refills every month, including on an annual plan. Unused allowance does not carry over to the following month.

Changing plan within the same billing period is charged or credited on a prorated basis at the time of the change, and any credit is applied to your account against future invoices rather than paid out. An annual subscription cannot be converted to a monthly one during its term. You may cancel it and start a monthly subscription once it ends.

If a renewal payment fails, we and our payment provider may retry it. While a payment is outstanding you may not be able to change plan, and if the payment cannot be collected your subscription may be canceled.

We may change our prices or the allowances included in a plan. Any change applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it takes effect.

8. Refunds

Payments to Retensis are non-refundable, except where we decide otherwise or where the law requires a refund.

We may issue a refund in full or in part at our sole discretion. Where we do, it is a decision on the facts of that request alone. It is not an admission of fault, and it creates no entitlement for you or for anyone else in future. Choosing the wrong plan or the wrong billing period, changing your mind, or not using the Service during a period you paid for does not entitle you to a refund. We do not refund partial periods on cancellation, and we do not refund an account we suspend or terminate for a breach of these terms.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for in advance.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us at support@retensis.com within 30 days of the charge and we will look into it.

Nothing in this section limits any right to cancel or to a refund that you have under consumer law where you live, to the extent that law applies to you and cannot be excluded by agreement.

9. AI-Generated Content

Analysis results, scores, and recommendations are generated by AI and should be treated as suggestions, not guarantees. Retensis does not guarantee that following AI recommendations will result in increased views, engagement, or any specific outcome. The AI analysis is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retensis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately and ends your access at once, including any part of a billing period you have already paid for. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
