Secure upload flow

   Create the upload

   Retensis validates the filename, MIME type, size, platform, and ownership context.

   Upload directly

   The browser or supported client uploads directly to Cloudflare R2 through a short-lived presigned PUT URL.

3. 3

   Trigger analysis

   The API reserves quota, validates ownership, checks duplicates, and queues the analysis.

4. 4

   Play securely

   Retensis creates short-lived signed GET URLs when an authorized viewer opens the video.

Limits and lifecycle

• Video uploads must use a supported video MIME type.
• The MCP upload handoff caps files at 500 MB.
• Presigned URLs expire and should not be stored as permanent media URLs.
• Deleting an owned video or account removes associated storage through the product’s deletion workflow.
