Analyze Video

Overview

This is the heart of Retensis. Upload a video, paste a YouTube link, or pick a Reel from your connected Instagram library, and Retensis watches the video itself, frame by frame: the footage, the audio, and your delivery on camera, rather than the thumbnail, the caption or the metadata. It then hands you a ranked list of what to fix first, which is the fastest way to see why a video underperforms and exactly what to change next.

How it works

   Add your video

   Upload a video file or paste a public YouTube link, pick the platform it is for, and mark it as yours or a competitor you are studying. With Instagram connected, you can also choose Analyze this Reel on a Reel in your Creative DNA library.

   Let Retensis watch it

   Retensis reviews the whole video and, if you have analyzed it before, reuses that result so you never spend a credit on the same video twice.

   Read your results

   Get your scores, a predicted retention curve, a timeline you can scrub, speech and delivery coaching, and a fix-first action plan that tells you what to change first.

   Improve and re-check

   Edit the video, run it again, and compare the two side by side to see whether your changes actually helped, all without mixing competitor videos into your own progress.

• Free gives you 2 analyses per month with a lighter result. Starter gives you the full result and 40 analyses per month. Growth gives you 100 analyses per month, Professional 250 analyses per month, and Business 500 analyses per month.
• The retention curve is an AI prediction, not measured platform data. Anything based on real numbers is labelled as measured.
• Analyzing a Reel from your Instagram library uses one analysis, exactly like an upload, and links the analysis to the published Reel for you. A Reel you have already analyzed opens its existing analysis instead.
